About Transducent
Though small in size, Transducent has grown as a company. We started operations in 2004 and since then, we have matured as a company and are now poised to offer much more.
What makes us different?
Transducent isn't the typical run of the mill Web design company that you see everywhere these days. We are serious about our work. Quality is important for us. We don't use pirated software and ordinary systems to get our work done.
Web standards
Transducent's beliefs are firmly rooted in web standards. What's all the hype about standards you ask. Take the example of a car or say a TV. Would you buy one that hasn't passed the standards test? You wouldn't (you shouldn't!). The same thing applies to websites. A site that doesn't confirm to web standards is sub-standard! That says it all.
Our websites adhere to XHTML and CSS standards and our web applications are built on efficient code. As far as our knowledge goes, we were the first company in India to offer solutions that adhered to W3C standards.
The benefits of web standards are too many to mention, but some of the reasons you should consider standards seriously are:

- Sites are accessible to more users and work on almost all browsers
- Easier and cheaper to update and maintain

Size does matter
It's not just technology that makes our work stand out. We are proud to call ourselves a small company. We believe that bigger isn't always better. By keeping our operations small and simple, we reduce overhead drastically. This makes us more efficient, accessible, faster, creative and keeps our rates low as well.
The biggest advantage of dealing with a small company however, is the human touch. Unlike mega corps, we offer a more personalized and human touch to our projects. Communicating your ideas to us is so much easier since the bureaucracy you find in large companies is non-existent.
Good taste matters

Technology
Apart from using the latest web standards in our projects, we also use the best hardware suited for the purpose. Our main design and development machines are state of the art Apple computers. This makes us enjoy our work as well. As a customer, what we use to design and develop should not make any difference to you, but our investment in hardware shows that we are serious about our work.
